Garza Family Kitchen Renovation of an historic home in Bryan, Texas

About Tamara Cuellar Garza

REALTOR®. Fightin’ Texas Aggie. Texanophile.

Tamara loves sharing Bryan’s history with her new-to-town clients. Take one trip with her Downtown and you’ll understand why locals still call her “the Queen.” (Hint, it has less to do with royal bloodlines and more to do with her fundraising for the Historic Queen Theatre!)

While Tamara has a special heart for older, established neighborhoods, mature trees and historic homes (she and he husband are currently renovating her 122 year old home in the Eastside Historic District), her degree in architecture affords her clients an edge when navigating the new and custom home design process.

If “home is where the heart is,” Tamara knows every home has a special story worth telling.  Whether listing or buying, Tamara can’t wait to help you tell, (or sell!) your next chapter!

More about Tamara Garza

An impassioned leader with over 20 years of professional marketing experience with influence and impact across our community, Tamara’s list of community involvement includes service to the Junior League of Bryan-College Station, the Hispanic Forum of Bryan College Station and the her most recent passion project, the Texas A&M Association of Former Students – Hispanic Network.

In addition to community service, she currently holds civic positions on the Historical Landmark Commission, the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Community Development Advisory Board for the City of Bryan and enjoys leading her Eastside Historic District Neighborhood Association. She was a strident supporter of the revitalization of Bryan’s Historic Downtown through her time on the board of the Downtown Bryan Association, which spearheaded events like First Friday, The Downtown Street Art Festival, Texas Reds Festival and sparked the renovation and re-opening of the historic Queen Theater.

Tamara pours into the community not for herself, but for her family. She is married to Alex Garza, a local photographer, and professor at Blinn College – and together they raise their two wild boys in a 120-year-old home that is a perpetual work in progress. Moving from a place you live into a place you love is our goal as a realtor estate agent and advisor. She’s looking forward to helping you navigate those hurdles and help you fall in love with our Aggieland community in the process!
