Born in the Rocky Mountains of Denver, Colorado and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, I’ve always had a deep connection to hard work, community, and innovation. After earning my degree in Marketing from Texas A&M — with minors in Sports Management and Agricultural Leadership — I set out to bridge the gap between business and athletics.
REALTOR®. Fightin’ Texas Aggie 16′.
As a former collegiate high jumper, I understand the athlete’s mindset — the discipline, the ambition, and the often-overlooked challenges. During college, I co-created the first mobile food delivery app in College Station (before the rise of UberEats), only to be restricted by NCAA rules from using my own name and image for business — an early lesson in the complexities of entrepreneurship and branding.
Over the last decade, I’ve worked in multiple sectors of marketing and sales — from SaaS technology to compliance and product development for supplement companies, to increasing memberships in boutique gyms across the Brazos Valley, Austin and DFW. Most recently, I’ve been helping high-net-worth individuals and sports teams charter private jets with QRJets, while also guiding student and professional athletes toward smart financial decisions.
Today, I’m proud to serve as a Commercial Realtor with Affinity Real Estate in College Station. I specialize in helping clients — especially athletes — identify, invest in, and grow income-producing properties. Whether it’s retail space, multifamily investments, or high-visibility commercial sites, I bring a unique perspective built from real-world experience in sales, marketing, and sports.
My mission is simple: To help individuals — particularly young athletes — build lasting wealth through real estate and avoid the common trap of short-term lifestyle spending. I’m committed to educating and empowering the next generation of investors and professionals, using my background to provide real insight and real results.
Let’s build your legacy — one smart investment at a time.
Out of every 100 student-athletes, fewer than 10% go pro. We cheer for those who do — they deserve it. But what about the other 90%?
I represent that 90%.
I’m Sam McSwain — a former NCAA track & field athlete who always dreamed big, not only on the field but also in business. While at Texas A&M, I co-founded Volo, a food delivery service that launched before UberEats entered the scene. It was innovative, timely, and built from hustle. But as a student-athlete, I ran into a wall: the NCAA’s former Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) restrictions kept me from fully participating in the business I helped build.
That experience shaped me.
Instead of chasing fame, I doubled down on building a career that empowers others — especially young athletes — to understand the business behind their brand. I earned my degree in marketing with a minor in sports management and began a decade-long career helping businesses grow through sales, branding, and strategy.
Today, I’m a licensed Commercial Realtor with Affinity Real Estate, and I also consult with QRJets, a private aviation firm. I specialize in helping athletes and entrepreneurs make smart moves — whether it’s acquiring income-generating property or investing in luxury travel to elevate their brand. My passion is helping student-athletes use NIL earnings to create first-generation wealth and long-term opportunity — the kind of legacy that outlasts a sports career.
I know the struggle because I lived it. Now, I’m committed to guiding others through it — with transparency, strategy, and heart.
